During the first Frisbee boom in Finland, Wham-O Fastbacks were commissioned as a promotional item. The Frisbee importer at the time was Helsinki-based Booster Oy. The first Farusa Fastbacks with Finnish printing were made in 1978 and the last were probably made in 1982.

Special Notes: The Finnish Frisbee Association was founded on May 16, 1978. The name of the association was changed to the Finnish Frisbee Disc Association. The name was approved at a board meeting on February 6, 1979.

Special Notes: Booster Oy was founded on October 27, 1978 in Helsinki. Booster was founded by Leo Luoti and Jukka Porko. Booster was, among other things, an importer of Frisbees.

League of Finnish-American Societies

Special Notes: The League of Finnish-American Societies is a Finnish association of friendship societies founded on July 1, 1943, with the aim of developing relations between Finland and the United States.
The League of Finnish-American Societies holds a significant position in the history of Finnish frisbee, as almost all of the first members of the Finnish Frisbee Association were members of the association (Seppo Nieminen, Leo Luoti, Jukka Porko, Pekka Porko, Michel Wendel, etc.).

Special Notes: Esport sports and leisure fairs were held several times in Dipoli, Espoo, in the 1980s. Ufokki and frisbee were often featured at the fairs. In 1981, the Finnish Frisbee Championship was held at the fair.

Special Notes: Broadcast was a Finnish pop band formed in 1980. Original line-up (1980–1982). Edu Kettunen - guitar, vocals. Kim Lönnholm - vocals. Esa Kaartamo - guitar, keyboards, vocals. Seppo Allinen - bass. Miri Miettinen - drums. Martti Rechardt - guitar.
Broadcast is Broadcast's debut album and was released in 1981. The members of the band Broadcast also played frisbee. One of Broadcast's biggest hits is the wistful ballad "You Break My Heart".

Kojo-Lucky Street

Special Notes: At the free concert in Kaivopuisto during the Helsinki Summer Festival on July 2, 1979, Frisbees advertising Kojo's new album were thrown from the stage into the 10,000 spectators who had arrived during Kojo's performance. Lucky Street is Kojo's studio album, which was recorded at Takomo Recording Studio in Helsinki in the spring of 1980. The album topped the Finnish charts for two weeks in the summer of 1980.

Marion

Special Notes: Marion Rung is a Finnish pop singer. Marion is especially remembered for her success as Finland's Eurovision representative and as the winner of the Sopot Song Festival and the Intervision Song Contest. In the 1970s, Marion also achieved popularity outside Finland with songs such as the song El Bimbo. This Fastback has an unusual sticker instead of a print.

Fazer Music Club

Special Notes: Musiikki-Fazer is historically the most significant music company in Finland, which included, among other things, the Fazer music store. The company expanded from music publishing to the record industry as early as 1910 and has been known as Musiikki-Fazer since 1960.

Beaver Jeans

Special Notes: Matti and Pirja Majava founded the Beavers store on Kruununhaankatu in Helsinki in 1969. They sold used American brand jeans. For example, Levi's, Lee and Wrangler, as well as surplus products from bowling shirts to army bags and jackets. Pirja Majava sewed the first Beavers jeans in 1970. Beaver Jeans was a partner in several frisbee competitions during the first frisbee boom.

TF Disco 10

IBM

Special Notes: International Business Machines Corporation (abbreviated IBM) is a technology company known for its mainframe computers and heavy-duty servers, and for developing the original IBM PC architecture. IBM was founded on June 16, 1911.
In its early days, the company primarily manufactured mechanical punch card machines, but also scales, typewriters, and calculating machines. IBM's product range expanded to computers in the 1950s, and since then IBM has been one of the largest information technology companies in the world. IBM has been operating in Finland since 1936. IBM's Finnish headquarters are located in Munkkiniemi, Helsinki.

Donald Duck

Special Notes: The Donald Duck Fastback was manufactured in 1980. Donald Duck advertised the Donald Frisbee prominently on the back of its magazines. Advertisements for the Donald Frisbee were found in the following magazines: issues 24,25,29/1980, 22/1981 and 24/1982.

Vick Blue

Special Notes: The Vick Blue Fastback was made in the summer of 1978. A total of 500 Fastbacks were made. Those 500 frisbees were given away in a competition announced in Helsingin Sanomat on August 17, 1978.

Grandi

Special Notes: Grandi is a straw juice manufactured by Valio. It was launched in 1970. Grandi packaging features a character named Kari Grandi, who has been called "the hero of all thirsty people" and who travels in various vehicles. Grandi flavors include strawberry, orange, raspberry, pear and orange cola. Grandi was a partner of the Finnish Frisbee Association's competitions for many years.

Special Notes: Vaasan Oy, or Vaasan, is a Finnish bakery company with operations in Finland and the Baltic countries. Vaasan has been baking in Finland since 1849.
Outside the Nordic countries, crispbread is generally considered a special health product. The global crispbread market is dominated by three large companies: the currently Italian-owned Wasabröd, originally Swedish, the second largest Finnish Vaasan, and the third largest English Ryvita.

Special Notes: Frisbees were sold at Leppävaara Maxi in the summer of 1979. Maxi advertised a genuine Maxi-Fastback frisbee for 8.50 FIM in Helsingin Sanomat on July 16, 1979.
